Ethimm’s second album single Strange Life delivers and eery, dark and reflective take on the cynicism of first world consumerism set to the backdrop of ever rising global tension. Sneakily moving forward at a steady pace, a dubby bassline meets heavy piano chords in the chorus. A shuffled drum chugs along the sparse landscape, with Elisabeth Thimm’s & Palma Ada’s powerful vocals reminding the listener of the inevitability of their actions, no matter how much they „twist and turn around the truth“.
